Savage 1911 Government 45 ACP 5″ 8RD Pistol (Black)

Savage has been making a variety of high-quality firearms imbued with the American spirit. They have taken that love and care to the legendary 1911 platform. With the time-honored design Savage didn’t have to make too many changes for making a solid pistol.

Starting with the base of the forged stainless steel for maximum strength and rigidity. Attached to the frame has all the same controls with the addition of ambidextrous safety for the southpaw shooter.

On top of the frame is an enhanced slide for an accurate system. The ejection port is enlarged and flared for improved ejection. This care is also taken to the slide with front and rear serrations for improved handling no matter the conditions.

Inside of this elegant slide is the high-quality barrel. Made with stainless steel this barrel is given all it needs to promote good accuracy.

To ensure this pistol keeps on kicking it’s given an enhanced recoil spring and a titanium firing pin. For making the pistol more personal the pistol comes with a picatinny rail.
